Elder Law is a specialized area of the law that involves counseling and representation regarding a variety of legal issues affecting older adults and their families.  Legal issues could involve your Wills or Trusts, Powers-of-Attorney, “Living Wills”, governmental benefits, Probate or Medicaid and Long-term Care Planning.

An older adult is someone typically aged 65 and older.  According to the U.S. Census reports, the older adult population is expected to double by 2050 from 2010.  The baby boomer generation which consists of people born between 1946 and 1964 are largely responsible for this rapid increase.
