Bradley Newman provides estate and elder law services for his clients which range from young adults to elderly, disabled and family clients. He helps his clients take control of their legal affairs so they may achieve the best results possible given their legal, financial, physical and emotional needs and family dynamics. Bradley’s focus is always on his clients as he invests time to listen to them and carry out the best plan of action and develop the soundest legal strategies to meet their wants and needs. When engaged in litigation matters, Bradley is a zealous advocate for his clients to ensure justice is served and their matters are successfully handled. Prior to becoming the lead attorney at Wase & Newman, LLC, Bradley worked as an Associate attorney at the Philadelphia-based law firm of Wase & Wase.

Bradley is married to Tracy Newman, a special education teacher. They have a daughter, Whitney.


Gordon M. Wase, Esquire

Mr. Wase is Of Counsel for Wase & Newman, LLC.  Previously, he was a partner in the Philadelphia law firm of Wase & Wase, which concentrated its practice in the areas of estate planning with an emphasis on planning for the elderly and disabled, guardianships, estate administration, and Orphans’ Court litigation.  He is also a professional arbitrator handling disputes for the U.S. Postal Service, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, among others.  For more than 15 years, he mediated employee/management disputes for the U.S. Postal Service. He also handles private commercial and divorce mediations and has served as a custody mediator for the Philadelphia Family Court. Prior to opening his law practice, he spent over 20 years as a management consultant for the international firm of Coopers & Lybrand resolving management disputes, facilitating client’s decision-making processes, and developing solutions to complex management problems.  Engagements also included capital project financings for the Health Care industry totaling over $400,000,000, and operational and financial evaluation of proposed mergers and acquisitions.  Most capital projects were financed through the sale of tax-free public authority bonds. Mr. Wase is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law and has earned the Estate Planning Certification of the Temple University School of Law.  He has served on the Executive Committee and also the Orphans’ Court Rules and Practice Committee of the Probate and Trust Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.  He was also that sections representative on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association.  He was a past chair of the section’s Elder Law Committee.  Mr. Wase has lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Philadelphia Bar Association and community associations concerned with the legal problems related to incapacity and aging. He has served as Co-Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.  He is a board member and past Treasurer of the Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter.  He is a past president of Fellowship Farm, an organization committed to the reduction of prejudice in our society through increased understanding. 


Cheree Nowlin Birch, Paralegal

Ms. Birch is a paralegal at Wase & Newman, LLC. She attended Lexington High School in Lexington, Virginia and Howard University, Washington, D.C. Ms. Birch was employed as a Collateral Technician by PNB Bank (now Wells Fargo) for nine years. In 1999, Ms. Birch began her career in legal administration. She received her paralegal certification from Pennsylvania State University in 2003.
